Concept Art For Canceled Star Wars Game Shows Darth Maul And Other Unique Characters
EA and its studios are busy developing Star Wars games that we will actually get to play. It is interesting to see details of the canceled Star Wars game which Disney canceled when it purchased the LucasArts. Now concept for another canceled Star Wars game has emerged which shows what the game could have been.
This canceled Star Wars game has been titled Star Wars: Maul on the ArtStation page of Thomas Szakolczay, who worked on the game as a concept artist. The concept art gives us a unique look at the game’s characters and armor designs.
The concept art also showcases Darth Maul whose lower half of the body is cybernetic which means that game would have been set after his encounter with Obi-Wan Kenobi in Star Wars Episode I.
The concept art also showcases a Sith Emperor, various Sith warriors, bounty hunter designs, and an interesting take on the classic stormtrooper. Check out the concept art for the cancelled Stars Wars game below.
However, this is not the only game that was cancelled as Star Wars 1313 and Battlefront 3 were also canceled during the transition.
But we are hopeful that the upcoming games in the Star Wars franchise will be worth the wait. Visceral Games is also working on an action-adventure Star Wars game and Amy Hennig is the game director.
When it was announced that Amy Hennig will be joining Visceral Games to work on the new Star Wars game many assumed that the game would be similar to the Uncharted games. According to Amy, the new Star Wars game will be spiritually similar to Uncharted series and that’s just about it.
