A Destiny Hotfix Is Coming In Few Days Fixing Xur, Weapon Stability and Missions
Bungie has announced that a new Destiny hotfix that’ll be available on January 17 at 9:30 AM PST, fixing some major issues related to update 2.5.0. (released in December).
This is what the hotfix does in few words:
- Some Patrol missions in the Plaguelands are not reliably causing enemies to drop their respective objective items
- Xur’s “Curio” inventory varies on a weekly basis, due to a limitation of his inventory space
- Weapon Stability on the Nova Mortis and Abbadon Exotic Machine Guns is inconsistent
Of course, not every problem caused by update 2.5.0. will be solved with this Destiny hotfix, as stated by Bungie.
By the way, Bungie is already working with Vicarious Visions (the team behind Crash Bandicoot remaster) on Destiny 2.
We don’t know much about this iteration of the series, but Bungie will have to deal with a crowd of players demanding quality content.
Beyond that, the incredible demand for Destiny content has somewhat outpaced our ability to deliver upon that demand, and going forward along with our partners at Bungie, have put together what we believe is a very smart approach that will allow us to publish some very good content to keep our players engaged and keep our universe alive and growing while waiting for the next chapter of Destiny.
What would you like to see in Destiny 2? And what would you get rid of instead?
