Zotac GTX 1080 Mini, Small Card For Small Form Factor Builds
While some would say that for great performance you need a big card and a big case to house that card in. But in recent times smaller form factor gaming PCs are becoming more and more popular and for good reason. No one wants a tower anymore and people want their PCs to take up less space. That is where the Zotac GTX 1080 Mini comes in. Although it is a smaller card as compared to the reference design but it is still a 1080 so you will be getting all the performance but for a smaller form factor.

I personally own a Zotac GTX 1060 because I like small form factor builds so I know where Zotac is going with their Mini series of GPUs. There is a huge market for such cards and the trending is increasing as we speak. The Zotac GTX 1080 Mini has been revealed at CES 2017 and it is a small but powerful card. The Zotac GTX 1080 Mini uses a custom PCB and it only has a single 8-pin power connector.
The Zotac GTX 1080 Mini has a dual fan design and the heatsink is at the end of the GPU and is rather small. The GPU comes with a backplate and there are small holes on the backplate that allow for better cooling. Although we do not have confirmation regarding the clock speeds of the Zotac GTX 1080 Mini we speculate that they should be similar to the reference design.
If you are looking to build a small form factor PC or already own one and want to upgrade the GPU then the Zotac GTX 1080 Mini is something that you should consider. This will give your PC great power while keeping the footprint small. Zotac cooling technology has always been great and I am sure that we will see the same with the Zotac GTX 1080 Mini.
