Report: Rabbids/Mario Crossover Game Will Be Similar To XCOM And More

Back in November, a rumor emerged that Ubisoft is developing a Rabbids And Mario Crossover RPG and now another rumor has made its way to the internet that reveals some new details about Rabbids/Mario Crossover game.

The rumor comes from Liam Robertson, who claims that Rabbids/Mario Crossover game will not only be an RPG but will also have strategic elements to it and will be somewhat similar to XCOM.

According to the report, the game will put players in the Mushroom Kingdom that is under attack by evil Rabbids. Mario, Luigi and other characters join forces with Rabbids to protect the kingdom. According to Robertson, customizable statistics and a lot of equipment will be at the player’s disposal through which the players can customize their characters according to their play style.

The report further suggests that the Rabbids/Mario Crossover Game is being developed in close collaboration with Nintendo and Nintendo is the one who decides how their characters are used in the game. The game will also feature classic Nintendo outfits and will be available by the end of the year.

While it has not been confirmed officially but we will know once Nintendo Switch Presentation kicks off. Until then take this rumor as a grain of salt.

Speaking of rumors, another rumor is making rounds on the internet that Resident Evil 7 will release for Nintendo Switch along with VR support. However, the developers are facing difficulties while making the game playable in VR on Nintendo Switch as it takes a lot of power.

Nintendo Switch is expected to launch in March 2017 but no specific release date or price has been announced by Nintendo.
