Mass Effect Andromeda CES 2017 Gameplay Showcases Dynamic Profile System, Skill Upgrades And More
With the announcement of the release date for Mass Effect Andromeda the hype for the game is very high and as promised by Bioware, the studio has revealed new Mass Effect Andromeda gameplay at CES 2017.
This new Mass Effect Andromeda gameplay gives us a good look at the game’s character customization, skill upgrades and more. The gameplay was showcased during the Nvidia CES keynote and the footage shown is the loyalty mission for Peebee.
What is most interesting is the dynamic profile system that allows players to change their class in real time, as you can see in the gameplay video above that Ryder changes his class to engineer to complete the tasks.
Mass Effect Andromeda will run at 60 FPS on both basic PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. However, this boost in frames per second does not come without any sacrifice as Bioware has confirmed that the game will run at 900p resolution for PlayStation 4 and 720p resolution for Xbox One.
It is possible the developer might use the dynamic resolution to hit the 60 FPS mark as DICE also used this same technique to reach the 60 FPS mark for Battlefield 1.
Also, a trilogy of Mass Effect novels will launch later this year. Titan Books will be releasing a trilogy of Mass Effect Novels in collaboration with Bioware.
Mass Effect: Nexus Uprising is the first Mass Effect novel that will be released in the series and it will be written by Jason M. Hough and K.C. Alexander. This first Mass Effect Effect novel will be available on March 8, 2017.
Mass Effect Andromeda is an action-adventure RPG in development at Bioware and is scheduled to launch on March 21, 2017, for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
