Resident Evil 7 will launch in less than a month and Resident Evil fans are excited about the game. While the game will launch for PC and consoles a new report has made its way to the internet that suggests Capcom is planning to bring Resident Evil 7 to Nintendo Switch along with VR support.

The report comes from YouTuber, OBE1plays. According to the report, Capcom will be bringing Resident Evil 7 to Nintendo Switch. However, the developers are facing difficulties while making the game playable in VR on Nintendo Switch as it takes a lot of power.

While the game will be playable on Nintendo Switch makes sense but the VR seems like an overkill as the leaked specs of Nintendo Switch suggests that the upcoming console does not have enough juice for running a game like Resident Evil 7 in VR.

Many gamers were disappointed with the current gen console as they can’t seem to run games at 1080 resolution and 60 FPS. But Capcom has confirmed that the upcoming game will run at 1080 resolution and 60 frames per second on basic PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Also, many Resident Evil fans have raised concerns over switching to first person perspective for Resident Evil 7 but Capcom has assured fans of the franchise that the gameplay is very similar to classic Resident Evil games.

If you just look at the gameplay, it’s actually very similar to the feel of the classic Resident Evil titles. We asked ourselves what makes Resident Evil special, so we actually drew a lot of inspiration from the first Resident Evil game during the development of Resident Evil 7.

Resident Evil 7 is an upcoming horror-survival game developed by Capcom and is scheduled to launch on January 24, 2017, for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
