Hideo Kojima Really Wants To Play Red Dead Redemption 2

You might think, as a developer of one of the most hotly-anticipated games in development right now, that Hideo Kojima would really be wanting his own game to come out and play it. However, instead, it seems like he’s actually really anticipating Red Dead Redemption 2 as his most-anticipated game.

Considering how Red Dead Redemption was one of the most popular games to come out on the Xbox 360, its sequel is one of the most anticipated games coming in the next year, especially considering that we’ve been waiting for that game for over five years. With everything that the game shows, including better graphics, better lighting, and even multiple characters in what seems to be a Magnificent Seven sort of setup, the anticipation is well deserved.

Hideo Kojima has already become known on his Twitter page for a lot of various posts that break (or maybe add to) apart some of the mystique that follows a figure like Kojima. His Twitter page, while including some small snippets of his work, also includes things like him buying a Godzilla figure (which he then sics on a number of Lego figures), and let’s not even forget the infamous “Konami Tears” picture he posted.

Since we’re likely not going to be getting Death Stranding until 2018 or 2019, Hideo Kojima is entirely within his rights to anticipate Red Dead Redemption 2 even over Death Stranding, especially since the game is supposed to be coming out in the fall of next year.

It’s not like Kojima will cause Death Stranding to suffer over playing Red Dead Redemption 2 either; as detail-obsessed as Kojima is, he’ll likely more than make up for the time he’s not overseeing the development of the game by throwing himself into his work and making sure that as many things as possible are completely perfect.
