Games in the God Of War series have always been linear in the sense that they task players to kill enemies, solve puzzles in an area before moving on to the next. However, the upcoming God of War will be different in that aspect.

Game’s director, Cory Barlog, recently confirmed the existence of alternate paths to provide players with more freedom while playing the game.

God Of War was also absent from this year’s PlayStation Experience given the game is PlayStation 4 exclusive many were expecting that developers would showcase the game at the event which raised some concerns among the fans about its development.

According to Barlog, God Of War is a big and complicated game. He assured fans that everything about the game’s development is ‘going well’ but it is incredibly hectic.
