The Division received a PS4 Pro patch recently that made added support for Sony’s new console.

  • Added support for PlayStation 4 Pro.
  • Will render UI at 4k and Game at 1080p.
  • Improves graphics settings to have better-looking shadows and reflections.

The game is upscaled to 4K while the UI is native 4K.

Keep in mind that the game is running in native 1080p that is scaled to 4K. The Division PS4 Pro clearly has better shadows and reflections, of course, it isn’t as sharp as native 4K but still a huge improvement over the standard 1080p version.

The Division PS4 vs PS4 Pro comparison video is posted above, check it out and let us know what you think in the comments below. Also, it is to be noted that the video was captured using a 4K capture card so for the best quality, run it in 4K to properly see the difference. However, that will only benefit you if you own a 4K screen.

The Division is now available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 4 Pro, PC, Xbox One. You can download a copy from PlayStation Store, Xbox Marketplace, Steam, or Uplay.

On a related note, The Division’s survival DLC is out now and brings plenty of new content. You can download it right now as part of the season pass or buy it separately.
