Resident Evil 7 Teaser: Beginning Hour is now available on Steam, Capcom and Valve have announced.
The playable demo which was announced during Playstation Experience later this month revolves around players waking up alone on the floor of an abandoned farmhouse.

The playable demo weighs in at around 3.6 GB so it should not take you long to download it and start playing.
According to Capcom, the company put in a lot of “extra care and love in optimizing the PC demo to ensure an awesome experience for our PC fans.” There is a long list of PC-only visual enhancements and tweaks i.e. rendering method, resolution scaling, texture quality, and more.
Capcom recently released a commercial for the game, brimming with jumpscares and a glimpse of what fans can expect from the game. Following the mediocre reception of Resident Evil 6, Capcom decided to take the franchise back to its horror-survival roots with the upcoming iteration.
Resident Evil 7 is scheduled to release next month on Jan. 24, 2016 for PC, Playstation 4, and Xbox One.
