Rumor: Red Dead Redemption 2 Will Have Three Protagonist, Online Component Will Arrive Later
Red Dead Redemption 2 is one of the most anticipated games that are going to launch next year. There were some rumors surrounding the game before its reveal and even after the game’s reveal rumors and leaks for the game are not stopping.
Now another leak has emerged on the internet that reveals some rather interesting details about the game. The rumor comes from the same 4Chan user who previously leaked the DLCs for Grand Theft Auto Online.
According to the leak, Red Dead Redemption 2 will have 3 playable protagonist and these three characters will be the former members of Jhon Marston’s gang and Jhon himself is not a playable character.
It seems that Rockstar intends to further build on the singleplayer structure that was introduced in Grand Theft Auto Online.

The report further suggests that the online component for the Red Dead Redemption 2 will go online sometime after the launch of the game so that players can enjoy the singleplayer campaign or else they will just skip it for the online component.
At a recent MKM Partners event, Take-Two CEO revealed that Red Dead Redemption 2 will have an incredible emotional depth to the story and players can expect great story elements.
He also added that it is the right time to release Red Dead Redemption 2 as back in 2010 the timing was right for Red Dead Redemption.
The conventional wisdom was of course that a western wouldn’t work. We took a different point of view, which is that very occasionally westerns capture the imagination of the public. When we launched Red Dead, it did. And those times were right for that. And I think the times are right for a big, sprawling, optimistic view of America again–and that’s not meant to be cute.
Red Dead Redemption 2 is an open-world action adventure game in development at Rockstar and will launch in fall 2017 for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
