Project Scorpio will be at E3 2017 and Phil Spencer is really excited for the event. He took to twitter to mention the fact and stated that every policy the company follows is not a reaction to what its rival is doing.

In short, Microsoft is doing its own thing and not looking at Sony. With that said, both companies never miss a chance to take jabs at each and boost their machine by promoting features the other doesn’t have.

In a different Tweet, Phil Spencer shot down rumors of Project Scorpio Teraflop performance it toned down from 6 to 5.

Phil Spencer has discussed teraflops performance in the past and stated the following to explain how they see it:

Well, I try not to really talk using the term. It’s like a car — you wouldn’t describe how fast it goes using only one characteristic. But I guess it’s like a teraflop is like horsepower — you’d probably have in your head what 100 horsepower could do, or 200.

But it’s much more than that — there’s other things that dictate how fast the car goes. A transmission. Its weight. It’s the same with Scorpio; it’s not just the number of teraflops that makes it powerful.

Project Scorpio is coming in Fall 2017, presumably for a little over $400. Well, that is if Microsoft wants the console to sell well and attract PC gamers.
