Misfits Roster Changes: PowerOfEvil Joins the Team’s First LCS Roster
Tristan “PowerOfEvil” Schrage makes up for new Misfits roster changes where the mid-laner has agreed to bring his mechanical outplays for the organization.
Previously part of Unicorns of Love and Origen, PowerOfEvil is known for outplaying opponents with unconventional champion picks. This includes Kayle running mid with Smite and Devourer.
He saw commendable success with Unicorns of Love before jumping over to Origen at the start of the 2016 season as a replacement for Enrique “xPeke” Cedeño Martinez.
Unfortunately, Origen’s struggling performance as a team dampened the hopes of everyone on the roster. PowerOfEvil chose to note renew his contract at the end of the season. Instead, he has agreed to be part of the first LCS roster for the newly inducted European LCS team, Misfits. He replaces Polish Marcin “Selfie” Wolski who was the team’s starting mid-laner in the Challenger Series.
“With three out of four top 4 finishes in the EULCS, his experience and consistency will be valuable in helping the Misfits League of Legends team achieve its goals in 2017,” stated the organization in an announcement.
Top-laner Barney “Alphari” Morris and AD Carry Steven “Hands” Liv have both renewed their contracts with Misfits for the next season. From the announcement, it appears that support Lee “IgNar” Dong-geun has also decided to stick with the team.
This leaves the fate of jungler Leon “Lamabear” Krüger in the air. With the 2017 competitive season around the corner, we’ll get a confirmation soon as to whether Misfits is bringing in his replacement or not. The following weeks should feature another round of Misfits roster changes.
European esports organization Misfits was formed earlier this year from the ashes of Renegades after its disbanding. The group features a young group of talented players who successfully ran through the European Challenger Series in the Summer Split to qualify for the League Championship Series.
