30th Anniversary Zelda Amiibo Functionality Revealed For Legend Of Zelda Breath Of The Wild

Following the reveal of new Legend OF Zelda Breath of The Wild gameplay, Nintendo has confirmed the functionality for the 30th anniversary Zelda Amiibo in Legend Of Zelda Breath of the Wild.

According to Nintendo, each amiibo will drop a particular item and these amiibos also have a chance to drop a treasure chest too. The 8-bit amiibo will drop barrels which may contain rupees, the Ocarina of Time Link will drop meat for the players to heal, The Wind Waker Link will drop fish and The Wind Waker Zelda will drop plants.

However, the functionalities of the three amiibos that were revealed during E3 2016 are yet to be revealed.

Legend Of Zelda Breath Of The Wild has been in development for quite some time and Nintendo has a lot of expectation from the game. Recently, Shigeru Miyamoto revealed that Legend Of Zelda Breath Of the Wild will have to sell 2 million units in order to just break even.

However, he added that things are no as bad as they sound as most of the cost will be recovered by selling bulk shipments to distributors and gaming stores.

Also, Publisher Dark Horse has announced that the company will be releasing a follow-up art book to the 2013’s Legend of Zelda Hyrule Hystoria.

Legend of Zelda Art and Artifacts will feature more than 400 pages of rare promotional art, official pixel art and exclusive interviews with the Legend of Zelda series design team.

Legend Of Zelda Breath Of The Wild is an open-world action adventure game in development at Nintendo and will launch for Nintendo Switch and Wii U.
