Assassin’s Creed III is a 2012 action-adventure video game developed by Ubisoft Montreal and released for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U, and PC. It is the fifth installment in the Assassin’s Creed series, giving an end to the story of Desmond Miles.

This game is set during and after the American Revolution with an interesting plot, as the father of main character (called Connor) is Grand Master of the Templar Order in the colonies. Connor, who started as an Assassin, will have to fight his demons and find a balance between what he thinks is right to do and what is really right.

Assassin’s Creed 3 received good reviews from the critics, being a huge commercial success, but not every fan was happy with the gameplay and the story, as they thought no innovation was brought to the franchise.

Besides the Assassin’s Creed 3 PC version, Ubisoft claimed that it wasn’t easy to port this game to Wii U.

I was excited by the challenge. Most people at Ubisoft didn’t think we’d be able to finish what we started since Wii U was less powerful than PS3 and Xbox 360. But at the end of the day, we managed to succeed and everyone was really impressed, even Nintendo engineers.
