EXP or Experience Points in Final Fantasy XV are earned by completing quests, defeating enemies, and tackling optional quests. The EXP are required to level your characters which not only allow you to tackle harder challenges, but also increase stats.

It is important to understand that all your earned Experience Points do not immediately increase your character stats. In order to do so, you must sort of cash in your EXP by resting the night.

In our Final Fantasy XV Level Up Fast Guide, we have discussed everything you need to know about power leveling in the game.

Rest in Hotels, Motels, and RVs

As mentioned earlier, you must cash in your EXP in order to reap the rewards. This thing, however, can be done in several different ways. You can sleep in a tent in order to cash in all your EXP with 1.0 multiplier along with some minor stat boosts.

However, if you spend the night in an RV or a motel, you get 1.2 or 1.5 multiplier respectively. Apart from these, there is a hotel near the beachside which provides you with 2.0 multiplier for cashing in your EXP there.

Do note that staying a night in the hotel mentioned above costs you 10,000 Gil so you have to consider that. I highly recommend accumulating a ton of EXP and Gil before cashing in and stepping up multiple levels at a time.

Complete Optional Quests

One of the best methods of earning quick EXP and leveling up fast in Final Fantasy XV is by tackling the Optional Quests. There are a lot of Optional Quests to choose from – some of them require you to defend an NPC while some are simple fetch-quests.

The amount of EXP earned by completing an Optional Quest varies. For instance, if you want to earn some quick Gil, you should definitely tackle Vyv’s Photography Quests. For earning EXP, you should try out Professor’s Protégé.

Recommended Hotels

As mentioned earlier, you need to cash in your EXP in hotels which offer you EXP Multipliers. For example, x2 multiplier at the hotel in Galdin Quay and x3 multiplier at the Altissia Hotel.
