According to Raines, he played the console a few weeks ago and believes that this console can be a game changer for Nintendo.
The Nintendo Switch, which I played at Nintendo a few weeks ago–we believe could be another game-changer that will expand the audience for gaming.
Also during the event the company revealed that according to their metrics, GameStop PowerUp Rewards members are aware of and interested in the console. According to the company, 27% of the members are interested in purchasing Nintendo Switch.
The company further noted that this figure could go even higher after the Nintendo Switch Presentation in January where Nintendo will announce the release date, price and the launch lineup for the console.
Also, Bethesda has confirmed that Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim will be ported to the console. In a recent interview director, Todd Howard, praised the console and talked about Skyrim Nintendo Switch version.
I love it. I got to play with Nintendo Switch and the experience I had was just amazing. Probably the best demo I’ve ever seen at E3. It’s really smart what Nintendo is doing with this console and I’m proud to say that Bethesda is going to be supporting it. It’s the first time we’ve done something on Nintendo. Skyrim will be ported to this console and it’s actually the same game that you already saw on PS4 and Xbox One.
Nintendo Switch is scheduled to launch in March 2017 but no specific date or price has been announced for the console.
