CD Projekt Red is currently working on Cyberpunk 2077 and while the fans are excited for the game there is not much known about it. However, Executive Producer John Mamais briefly talked about the game at the pre-show of the Golden Joystick Awards.

According to John Mamais, a lot of developers in CD Projekt Red had worked on the Witcher series for a long time and they were kind of fatigued with the whole fantasy and medieval fantasy. He added that the developers are really excited to be working on Cyberpunk 2077 as it gives them something completely different to work on.

When pressed by the host to reveal any new detail about the game, he jokingly said that his throat would be cut if he said anything, and mentioned that Cyberpunk 2077 is going to be “really, really, really fucking badass”.

Cyberpunk 2077 was announced before the launch of The Wicher 3 and has been in development ever since. Fans are really eager to know when the game will launch and the developers have given a rough idea of the game’s launch.

According to the studio, the Cyberpunk 2077 release date will be some time before 2019, so we’ll have a two-year window to wait before the game releases.

The next game to be released by CD Projekt Red is GWENT The Witcher Card Game. There is no doubt that GWENT has been extremely popular among The Witcher 3 fans, but the developers did not anticipate that this mini game would be so popular among the players.

We wanted to make a fun mini-game that players would enjoy in between saving the world in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. That was the plan when we were creating GWENT. And then it turned out players were actually spending a whole lot of time playing GWENT, much more than we anticipated.

Gwent will also feature Cross Network Play between PC and Xbox One.

GWENT The Witcher Card Game will launch for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4, but no specific release date has been announced.
