Ubisoft: Watch Dogs 2 Will Have A “Deeper Characterization” And A Lighter Tone
Watch Dogs 2 is one of the most anticipated games to launch this year but still, the fans are a little bit skeptical about the game. Part of the reason for gamers not being convinced is that the first game lacked to deliver on its promises.
However, Ubisoft has done its best to make things right in Watch Dogs 2, from mission design to the open world, everything now seems more vibrant and full of life compared to the dull open world of the first game.
Speaking with MCV, Watch Dogs 2’s marketing director Mark Slaughter said that the development team was really proud of what they have achieved with the first Watch Dogs. The team learned a lot and listened to fans and implemented those requests and changes in the sequel.
He added that Watch Dogs will feature a deep characterization, a sense of humor which the first game seriously lacked.
There will be a more relevant narrative with deeper characterisation; a fresh, lighter tone, more creative hacking options, better driving and a seamless online experience. Add to this more choice on how to approach challenges and a great sense of dynamism and variety in the game world and the team have worked very hard to produce a strong offering that the players will love.
He also said that response from early previews for Watch Dogs 2 is extremely positive, and the company has very high hopes for it.
With all our launch activity we’re seeing there’s a lot of strong buzz coming to the game quite late in the campaign so we’ve got high expectations.
Watch Dogs 2 is scheduled to launch on November 15 for Xbox One and PlayStation 4, as for PC the game will launch on November 29 with PC exclusive features.
