Report: Smash Bros Nintendo Switch Port Arriving, Remaining Smash Amiibo Delayed
Nintendo Switch has been revealed, but it seems that leaks and rumors for the console are still coming in, as a new report has emerged that suggests Smash Bros. will be ported to Nintendo Switch.
The report comes from LetsPlayVideoGames, and according to their sources, which they claim to be quite reliable, the Bayonetta and Cloud Amiibo have been delayed long enough to launch alongside Nintendo Switch port of Smash Bros.
The site further claims that their sources tell them that Nintendo Switch port of Smash Bro. will not be a launch title for the console, but Nintendo is targeting to release the game in the first six months after the console hits the stores.
The sources further claim that Nintendo Switch port of Smash Bros. will arrive with all the DLC that was released for the Wii U version. However, it is still unconfirmed that the game will feature any new content or not.
Speaking of rumors and leaks, recently a report made its way to the internet that suggests Mario 3D will be the launch title for Nintendo’s upcoming console instead of Legend of Zelda Breath of The Wild.
With the reveal of Nintendo’s upcoming console, many are expecting that Nintendo 3DS’ days are numbered, but Nintendo has clarified that they have no plans to discontinue the 3DS.
Thanks to our software, the 3DS hardware is still growing. So that business still has momentum. And certainly rather than being cannibalized by the Switch, we think the 3DS can continue in its own form.
Nintendo Switch is scheduled to launch in March 2017, but no specific release date or price has been announced for the console. Hopefully, the price for the console will be revealed at Nintendo Switch Presentation in January 2017.
