The launch for Dishonored 2 is just around the corner and the hype for the game is through the roof. While we might not get to play the game before Friday, but the game is now available for preload.

The announcement comes from the official Dishonored Twitter account, and the preload is now available for all platforms.

Also, the Xbox One version of Dishonored 2 will receive a massive 9GB day one patch. However, no details were revealed about what changes and improvements this patch will bring to the game.

It seems to be an abundance of day-one patches these days, specifically, since the current generation of consoles has started. It seems that developers have become too lazy to release a finished product and as a result, we have to download these massive day-one patches.

Furthermore, Bethesda has also taken steps to ensure that the PC version of Dishonored won’t be pirated. The publisher has decided to utilize the Denuvo Antitamper DRM tool for Dishonored 2.

Fans are expecting that with the release of Dishonored 2, Arkane Studios will move on to Dishonored 3 after the DLC are done. However, Harvey Smith, co-creative director at Arkane Studios, has revealed that he has no plans for the future as he does not plan things in advance.

He further explained that with the first Dishonored, he grew a bit sick of it, but the idea for the sequel involving Emily changed his perception, but as for the Dishonored 3 he is quite unsure of it.

Dishonored 2 is a stealth action game developed by Arkane Studios and will launch on November 11, 2016 for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
