Watch Dogs 2 PC

Recently, Ubisoft confirmed that Watch Dogs 2 PC version will not release alongside its PlayStation 4 and Xbox One counterparts. Ubisoft’s team released a statement saying the studio needs more time to ensure the quality of the game they are releasing on PC.

Watch Dogs 2 PC was pushed to November 29 while PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions were releasing on time, November 15.

Our team aim is to make the best Watch Dogs game possible in terms of quality. To do that, we have made the hard but necessary decision to delay the launch date for the PC version of this game to November 29, 2016. With this extra time, we’ll be able to ensure that Watch Dogs 2 runs without problems on many different hardware. Morover, the game will be polished in a general way

However, it looks like Ubisoft may have silently retracted its delay announcement. Watch Dogs 2 PC version is once again listed alongside PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions, showing a November 15 release date on the company’s website, GameStop, and Uplay.

Steam on the other hand, is showing the same November 29, 2016, release date for Watch Dogs 2 PC. It is possible that Steam is not yet notified of the changes to Watch Dogs 2 release plans.

Watch Dogs 2 went gold two weeks ago which means that developers had around a month to polish the final product for release. That time may have been enough for Ubisoft to iron-out Watch Dogs 2 PC version.

We will have more updates for you as soon the story further develops.
