With the reveal of Mass Effect Andromeda, a lot of new details about the game have been revealed. We know that the events of the game take place centuries after the events of the original trilogy, so naturally, it focuses on new characters, The Ryder Family.

Bioware has revealed the voice cast for Mass Effect Andromeda, and I have to admit that it’s an impressive voice talent.

We already know that players will be able to choose one of the Ryder twins, Scott Ryder or Sarah Ryder, to play with. This sees a departure from the previous games in the franchise, in which the protagonist was the same fundamental character regardless of their gender.

Scott Ryder will be voiced by Tom Taylorson, who’s credits include voicing the title character in Octodad: Dadliest Catch. His twin sister, Sarah Ryder, will be voiced by Fryda Wolff, who has previously voiced cephalopod’s daughter in Octodad. She was also the narrator in Civilization: Beyond Earth.

Father of the both Ryder twins, Alec Ryder, will also be a key character in the game. He is also an N7 soldier like Commander Shepard. Alec Ryder will be voiced by Clancy Brown, a veteran actor with numerous credits for appearing on screen and voice work.

Brown has appeared in movies like The Shawshank Redemption and Starship Troopers. He has done voice work for Mr. Krabs in SpongeBob SquarePants and Lex Luthor in the Justice League animated series.

These actors will definitely have some big shoes to fill, as Mass effect series is known for its memorable characters and top-notch voice acting.

The release date for the game is still to be announced, bit recently it got leaked. The leak suggests that Mass Effect Andromeda will launch on March 21, 2017.

Mass Effect Andromeda will launch sometime in March 2017 for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
