Square Enix Previews Every Final Fantasy XV DLC Available At Launch

As the Final Fantasy XV launch is getting closer, Square Enix has geared up its efforts to market the game. While the season pass for the game was revealed a while back, this time Square Enix has previewed every piece of Final Fantasy XV DLC that will be available at launch.

It must be noted that these DLCs are just weapons and cosmetics for the characters and the vehicle in Final Fantasy XV.

16-Bit Buddies

The first piece of Final Fantasy XV DLC is the 16-Bit Buddies skin for the vehicle that Noctis will be driving in the game. As you can see in the video below, this vehicle skin puts 16- bit renders of Noctis and his buddies on the side of the vehicle.

Gold Chocobo

Moving ahead the next piece of DLC is also a cosmetic item for the vehicle, Gold Chocobo. This skin gives the car a gold look and on the side, there is a sticker of Chocobo. Check out in the video below.


This vehicle skin gives the car a similar color scheme to that of Cindy’s clothes and also there are pictures of Cindy herself on the car.

Platinum Leviathan

This vehicle skin gives the Noctis’ car a look similar to that of a Leviathan. As you can see in the video below, the car has a purplish look and with Leviathan sticker on the sides of it.

Big Bang

This DLC is a theme for the console, and as you can see in the video below, Square Enix has previewed this theme on a PlayStation 4. But still, it is unclear that this theme will be available for Xbox One as well.

Royal Raiment

This Final Fantasy XV DLC is an outfit for Noctis. In the video, you can see that the outfit gives Noctis a royal look.

Xbox One FFXV Avatars

While the Big Bang theme is for the PlayStation 4, but Square Enix has not forgotten about the Xbox One user. This DLC will give users Final Fantasy XV costumes for their Xbox Live avatars, including the Noctis’ costumes and Carbuncle Pet costume.

Mage Mashers (FFIX)

This Final Fantasy XV DLC is a weapon. These twin blades were forged by Zidane Tribal of FINAL FANTASY IX, and the attacks are quite fast with these blades.

Gae Bolg (FFXIV)

This is a legendary dragoon lance from FINAL FANTASY XIV, a perfect weapon to strike fear in the hearts of your enemies.


This Final Fantasy XV DLC weapon is a Katana looking sword, use this sword to cut down your enemies in your way.

Blazefire Saber (FFXIII)

This cool looking sword is Lightning’s signature weapon from FINAL FANTASY XIII. Use this weapon to destroy your enemies.


This is a story DLC, that will take players “fictitious 30 years before FINAL FANTASY XV”. This Final Fantasy XV DLC “features retro-style inspired graphics centered around a fast-paced combat system with influences from modern gaming”.
