New Modern Warfare Remastered Camo Comes From Getting Gold
There’s bound to beat least one new bit of content in Modern Warfare remastered, and it, of course, pertains to the game’s multiplayer. The new Modern Warfare Remastered camo, called the “Regal” camouflage, comes from a player getting the gold camo for every weapon class in the game, according to an in-game menu.
In order to get the Regal camo, players will have to get gold camo in every weapon class: Assault Rifles, Shotguns, Submachine Guns, and more. Getting the gold camouflage pattern requires you to complete every single weapon challenge in the game, so if you really want the new Modern Warfare Remastered camo, you’ll have to really work for it.
While we have no idea of what the Regal camo is going to look like, it will probably be just as flashy, if not more, as the gold camo, which serves no real practical purpose aside from bragging rights that you’ve played the game long enough to complete all of its challenges.
Considering how many people appear to be considering playing Modern Warfare Remastered instead of Infinite Warfare (despite the two games being bundled together), it’s likely that if you play the multiplayer you’ll be seeing players with the Regal camouflage all too soon when the bundled games come out tomorrow, November 4.
Players that took part in Advanced Warfare’s multiplayer, along with the last two Black Ops games, may recognize the new Modern Warfare Remastered camo as a send-up to those, where players could only get the Royalty camo after getting all of their weapons to Diamond and other such systems.
Modern Warfare Remastered, along with Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, will be available tomorrow on November 4, on the Xbox One, the Playstation 4, and the PC. The bundle can’t be separated, so buying one will get you the other even if you don’t plan on playing Infinite Warfare.
