Activision Confirms Yolo Mode For Call Of Duty Infinite Warfare
Call Of Duty Infinite Warfare will launch with quite a few game modes, some of which are the franchise’s regular and some game modes will be new. One of the game modes is Call Of Duty Infinite Warfare YOLO Mode for the campaign.
YOLO mode is exactly what is says, you only live once, meaning permadeath. If players mange to get themselves killed in the campaign, they will have to stat the game all over from the beginning.
However, Call Of Duty Infinite Warfare YOLO mode will not be available for the first playthrough. To unlock the YOLO mode players will first have to complete the singleplayer campaign in the specialist mode, which Activision describes as intensely realistic.
In Specialist mode there will be no health regeneration and players can only heal through Nano Shots. Helmets take permanent damage and need to be replaced. If players gets shot in the leg, the movement will be impacted, if shot in the arm, player’s ability to use equipment and aim down sights will be impacted. The weapon can also be shot out of your hand.
The Specialist mode is so much difficult, we can only imagine what Call Of Duty Infinite Warfare YOLO mode will bring to the table. Perhaps YOLO mode will keep the characteristics of the Specialist mode and will only add permadeath.
Also Activision has confirmed that Call Of Duty VR game, Jackal Assault, will be free for all PlayStation 4 owners, regardless of they own the main game or not. And the rank sharing among weapons between multiplayer and zombies mode has also been confirmed.
Call Of Duty Infinite Warfare launches on November 4, 2016 for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Also Call Of Duty Modern Warfare Remastered will be available for those who get the special edition for the game.
