Titanfall 2 Crashsite Map Guide to help you get to know about all important jumps & spots on the map alongside tips for different game modes.
This map has a lot of wallrunning paths which can be utilized in order to gain a speed bonus and a clear advantage over your opponents. While playing with titans, you should try and block these paths so that you are able to deal with pilots much more efficiently.
Titanfall 2 Crashsite Map Guide
In our Titanfall 2 Crashsite Map Guide, we have provided an overview of everything you need to know about the said map along with tips for different game modes.
You need to take advantage of multiple research facilities and buildings in order to avoid enemy gunfire. There is not much cover available on the entire map which is why research facilities hold special significance. You cannot, however, expect to camp inside throughout a match and hope to win. For instance, in Capture the Flag, you cannot protect the flag from within the facilities.
This open area essentially marks the center of the map. It is important to control the area because of all the important objectives that appear here. For instance, this section is particularly useful for playing the Last Titan Standing – whichever team can control the area should be able to dictate the pace of the match.
This area is relatively enclosed as compared to Overhang and has multiple paths leading in/out of the area. If you decide to control the area, make sure to do from the outskirts and not from the inside. As pilots, you should be able to find quite a few positions for wallrunning and gaining a speed boost.
As for titans, the area can hold a couple of titans, but in close proximity of one another. While playing game modes like Capture the Flag and Amped Hardpoint, it is a good idea to control this area.
When we talk about this area, it is important to note that pilots can easily gain access to the top of the waterfall. This can provide them with a decent vantage point in order to deal with titans as well as minions. Do note that minions like Specters can also jump on top of the waterfall so be prepared for that.
You should easily be able to control half of the map by simply controlling this area. There is decent amount of cover available in the area, but you should definitely consider Cloak Tactical Ability in order to move from one area to the other.
Game Modes Strategy
The research facilities hardpoint is relatively easy to control as long as the area is not flooded with enemy forces. The cargo one can be a tad difficult which is why it is recommended that you have a few friendlies to back you up while trying to control it.
Lastly, coming to the overhang hardpoint, you should try and use Tactical Abilities like Cloak in order to close in some gap and flank enemies without being detected. You should be able to find enough cover to get around, but I also suggest using the Sonic Blade to help your teammates out.
The first dropzone is at waterfall which makes the waterfall ledge a highly contested zone. You should not only bear in mind while defending and trying to control the area. The idea is to get rid of minions as quickly as possible in order to initiate your titanfall.
The second dropzone is at the hill climb. It goes without saying that the fastest route to the hill climb is through the midsection, but there is a big risk involved. You should try and engage maximum number of minions from a safe distance and use Electric Smoke in order to conceal your tracks as you try and close in the gap.
Capture the Flag
You should be able to find the first flag located in the cargo hold, before the entrance to the bridge. After getting the flag, you should try to head through the bridge towards the waterfall and back to your home base.
The second flag is located inside the research base. This area has a lot of wallrunning positions and pillars which you can use in order to gain a speed boost and continue towards the cargo hold. You just need to make sure that you are not caught on your way.
