Fans are eager to see more of Mass Effect Andromeda. It has been 2 years since the reveal of the game, the only gameplay showcased for the game was during the PlayStation Meeting, where the devs showed how the game looks on the console. However, EA is prepared to delay the game, if it needs more time to be a better game.

EA CFO Blake Jorgensen said during the recent earnings call for the company that EA would delay Mass Effect Andromeda if the devs need more time to make it better.

Right now, Mass Effect is tracking extremely well. The game looks beautiful. And we’re really pleased with its progress. However, as you’ve seen, we are willing to make moves in launch dates if we feel it’s necessary to deliver the right player experience.

He further added that if Bioware feels that the gameplay for Mass Effect Andromeda is not perfect then they can delay the game with the blessing of Electronic Arts. The delay for the game could be a week or it could be three or four or five months if need be.

For now Mass Effect Andromeda is on track to release by the end of the EA’s current fiscal year, which means that the game will launch by March 2017.

However, there are a lot if expectations riding on the shoulders of Bioware, specially after the much criticized ending for Mass Effect 3, which majority of the fans did not like at all. But Bioware does not feel pressured for the upcoming game.

Recently, Nintendo Switch revealed and the company also announced dozens of its third party developing partners. So many fans were expecting that Bioware will also bring its upcoming game to Nintendo’s new console. But Bioware has made it clear that Mass Effect Andromeda is not planned for Nintendo Switch.

Mass Effect Andromeda is an upcoming action RPG in development at Bioware for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
