Titanfall 2 Black Water Canal Map Guide

In our Titanfall 2 Black Water Canal Map Guide, we have provided an overview of everything you need to know about the said map along with tips for different game modes.

Prime Locations

Control Station
This is an indoor area which houses a hardpoint. It is important that you cover all the entrances while you are capturing/defending the point. The area outside the indoor locations is where you should be able to find titans battling it out.

Bridge
This area is the center of Black Canal Water map, houses another hardpoint, and is the area where most of the action takes place. Remember that there is little to no available cover in this area and the titans under the bridge can give you a hard time. If you manage to control this area – through the side building – or any other means, you should have no difficulty in winning the game.

Pump
This area has some decent lines of fire for titans that can help you control it rather quickly. Apart from this, there is a two-storey building which can be used to setup a stronghold. However, similar to control station, you need to make sure that you control entrances/exits of the building.

Filtration
Filtration provides both the teams with an excellent vantage point to overlook the bridge and most of the possible CTF routes. You should also be able to deal with enemy titans with relative ease. It is recommended that you gain control of this area at the earliest.

Bulk Storage
This area has just enough room for titans to move about and buildings which allow pilots to attack and even rodeo enemy titans. However, since there are many narrow pathways in the area, you must avoid getting hit by titans like Scorch or Ronin – unless you are looking for quick death.

Game Modes Strategy

Amped Hardpoint
The main area where all the action takes place is the bridge area. It is recommended to control the area with a titan, but if you are unable to do so, make sure that you do not push too hard so as to avoid getting killed.

Alternatively, you can make use of the Filtration area in order to control/defend routes leading to all hardpoints. The rooftop should not only provide you with decent cover, but also enough elevation to take out enemy titans.

Bounty Hunt
You need to begin by securing some early kills from the buildings around the bridge in order to get your titan at the earliest. It is also a good idea to gain hold of buildings as they provide decent cover. Lastly, you should also try to control the rooftops which should allow you to eliminate pilots and titans from decent long-range weapons.

Capture the Flag
When it comes to playing Capture the Flag on Black Canal, you need to avoid heading to canal while returning the flag. Moreover, you should avoid spending a whole lot of time on the bridge.

On the defending side, you need to take control of the Filtration Area and keep your eyes peeled on the central area. All in all, you basically need to move fast while using indoors as cover from to time. Have a clear route in mind and make sure to gain some speed before moving.
