Modern Warfare Remastered UPDATE 1.08

Raven Software has confirmed that there will be Call of Duty Playstation 4 Pro support, specifically on Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Remastered, the scaled-up version of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. Considering how the game looks already, we can only imagine how much better it’ll look on the Playstation 4 Pro.

Though both Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered will be releasing later this year (specifically on November 4), the Playstation 4 Pro won’t be very far behind them, specifically on November 10, around a week after the games release. So, if you’ve already pre-ordered a Playstation 4 Pro and plan on buying Call of Duty when it comes out, you’ll be able to put them both together when the Pro comes out.

There’s already been a graphics comparison video for how Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered will look compared to the original Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, and in general it looks a lot better, with improved textures, lighting, and more, all of which is guaranteed to look even better in the 4K that the Playstation 4 Pro comes with.

While there’s no guarantee if the Call of Duty Playstation 4 Pro support will also extend to Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare (which comes with the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare remastered, no discussion), hopefully it will be a given since the two ship together, and supporting one on Playstation 4 Pro but not the other would be odd.

However, we’ll just have to see if Call of Duty Playstation 4 Pro support will extend to both games in the upcoming Call of Duty bundle, as well as every other upcoming Call of Duty game that comes after them. Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will be releasing on November 4 on the Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC.
