New Gears of War 4 Multiplayer Maps To Debut November 1
According to a NeoGAF leak posted by Strootman, players will be getting two new Gears of War 4 multiplayer maps when November rolls around. While the two maps are new to the game, they’re not new to the series, as they’re the maps Checkout and Drydock from Gears of War 3.
Like many of the other maps in Gears of War, the maps take place in ruined locations that have been abandoned by humanity after E-Day: in this case, a supermarket and a dockyard. Checkout personally takes place in the city of Hanover, formerly the home of Augustus Cole, the black, loud, and lovable fourth personality of Delta Squad. Drydock takes place in a shipbreaking facility that’s been turned into a shipbreaking facility.
This is fitting with what The Coalition talked about happening when the game released, mainly a rotating selection of multiplayer maps for people to play every few months.
While we’ll likely get a few other multiplayer maps that are actually from Gears of War 4, we can expect to see some old or new Gears of War 4 multiplayer maps.
Also coming on November 1 are two new characters to play both in Multiplayer and in the game’s Horde mode: Rapper duo Run The Jewels will become available as characters in the game for you to pick up and play multiplayer and Horde, so you can make either Killer Mike and EL-P part of the COG to butcher tons of Swarm and robots.
Gears of War 4 has already come out to rave reviews ever since it released over two weeks ago, so if you’re done collecting every COG tag in the game and getting very achievement that you can in the story mode, you can get onto multiplayer to play both of the new multiplayer maps and to try out the two new characters.
