Ubisoft: Nintendo Switch Could Redefine Gaming With Its Unique Design And Capabilities

Ubisoft have been quite optimistic when it comes to Nintendo, as the developer has supported Wii U is some way when other third party developers and publishers pulled their support. Now, Nintendo has revealed its much rumored and anticipated console, Nintendo Switch, and according to Ubisoft, the console could redefine gaming.

Ubisoft CEO, Yves Guillemot, told GameSpot that with the unique capabilities of Nintendo Switch and design, the console can change the way gamers play games.

With the Nintendo Switch’s unique capacities and design, Nintendo could again redefine the way we play games. The Nintendo Switch is accessible at its core and also seizes on the growing trends of sharing more experiences and playing anywhere at any time. Ubisoft and Nintendo enjoy a long-standing partnership and we are currently developing a number of games for the platform, including Just Dance 2017. We look forward to sharing more at a later date.

Not only Ubisoft but a dozens of other third party publishers and developers have announced their support for Nintendo’s console, including Bethesda, From Software, Activision, Havok and more.

The reveal of Nintendo’s console was no doubt much anticipated, however, not only Nintendo got positive response from the fans about their upcoming console but also the reveal of the console has apparently raised the Nintendo market value by a billion dollars, similar to the release of Pokemon Go.

Also there is rumor circulating the internet that came from well-known Nintendo insider Emily Rogers, that suggests Nintendo Switch will be a region free console. However, this is just a rumor and still to be confirmed by Nintendo itself.

Nintendo Switch will be available in March 2017, however, no specific date or price has been announced by Nintendo, but we should hear something in the coming months.
