Before the official announcement, there were numerous rumors and speculations that Red Dead Redemption 2 PC is happening. However, Rockstar Games nor the official reveal trailer mentioned anything that could remotely even remotely be tied to a PC version.

Soon after the reveal trailer went live and we came to know that there is no PC version, a petition on Change.Org went live, asking Rockstar Games to develop a PC version of Red Dead Redemption 2.

Because Red Dead Redemption is an amazing game and we PC players have been denied from playing it. Please don’t do the same with Red Dead Redemption 2.

The goal of the petition is to reach 35,000 and at the time of writing, there are 32,890 supporters.  The Petition reads:

Dear Rockstar,

The PC gaming community requests you to consider releasing Red Dead Redemption 2 on PC platform. We have always supported you and loved your marvelous games over the years. Please do not deprive us of enjoying your beautiful games, as you did with Red Dead Redemption (2010). This will be an injustice to your fans if you do not bring Red Dead Redemption 2 on PC this time.

We hope this open petition will encourage you and your respective authority to consider our plea.

It is up to Rockstar Games and it is odd why there is no PC version for one of its biggest IPs. Grand Theft Auto, LA Noire, Bully, all made to PC but Red Dead didn’t.

Are you in favor of Red Dead Redemption 2 PC?
