Latest PlayStation 4 iteration hasn’t reached the stores yet, but it seems people got amazed by this console as PlayStation 4 Pro Amazon units are sold out in Germany.

It’s the first time since its official reveal that people can’t order this console as they’ll have buy it somewhere else.

Anyway, it’s a good thing for Sony that PlayStation 4 Pro Amazon units are sold out.

However, even before the announcement of PS4 Pro, there was a lot of talk about it. Many people didn’t like the fact that Sony was working on a better version of PS4 and they obviously felt robbed. More than 40 million people all over the world owns PS4 standard and it isn’t this nice to tell them “Hey, we made a better version of PS4. Do you want to buy it?”. But this is not the only problem regarding PS4 Pro.

Making a new version of an already existing console would make consoles similar to PCs, meaning the hardware gets old after few years if not months. It would be the death of consoles.

By the way, we are only making hypotheses and it’s not known what will happen to consoles within the next years.

However, Sony’s Jim Ryan talked about PlayStation 4 Pro and what Sony has in mind for the future, and he told that an eventual PS4 Pro success in terms of sales could make things easier for PS5.

We are doing something truly new in the gaming industry and we are really excited about it. PS4 Pro is yet to be released but if it is successful, this could raise expectations for PlayStation 5.

So what do you think of PlayStation 4 Pro? Will it be a success?

PlayStation 4 Pro will launch on November 10, 2016.
