Today Rockstar Games has officialy announced Red Dead Redemption 2. The web went crazy both in a good and in a bad way as some people got frustrated because of the game releasing on console only, and a petition has been made to bring Red Dead Redemption 2 on PC.

This petition (available here) has already been signed by 8200 people and this number could even grow with the hours passing by.

Because Red Dead Redemption is an amazing game and we PC players have been denied from playing it. Please don’t do the same with Red Dead Redemption 2.

Anyway it was not necessary to make a petition.

Rockstar Games already knows that a lot of players prefer to play games on PC rather than on console. Furthermore, the success of GTA V on PC has been huge and we are sure Rockstar doesn’t want to lose a great piece of this cake. So just wait, time will be by your side.

However, an analyst from Cowan and Company stated that Red Dead Redemption 2 could sell above 15 million copies.

The analyst specifically claimed that the first Red Dead Redemption sold 13 million copies and its fame kept growing when the game was brought to the Xbox One backwards compatibility program.

Moreover, the official announcement of Red Dead Redemption jammed the web so it wouldn’t be so hard for this game to sell more than the first chapter, eventually breaking GTA V records.

Anyway we are talking of mere hypothesis for now. We’ll see how the sales of this game will go after it will be released.

Red Dead Redemption 2 will hit the stores within 2017 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Nothing has been said about Red Dead Redemption 2 on PC.
