The first video for Resident Evil 7 showcases the recorder, which serves as a save point for the game. The video shows that the character saves the game using the recorder, and when he is just about to leave the room, the phone rings, and before he can pick it up the video ends.

The second video for Resident Evil 7, showcases the different uses of the knife. Players can use it to break fragile objects in order to get ammo or other resources inside them, or players can cut the tape on some boxes. However, the video does not shows what these boxes are for.

Recently, Capcom also released a couple of video hinting towards a mysterious character, which many are speculating to be Ada Wong or Sheva Alomar, and inventory management and shotgun.

While the PlayStation 4 exclusive demo has already received an update which adds a new area to the game, Resident Evil 7 producer, Masachika Kawata, has revealed that developers intend to again update the demo so that players can try other aspects of the game. He also revealed that developers would like to bring the demo for the game to other platforms too.

The game will also be playable in virtual reality, but it will be exclusive to PlayStation VR for one year after launch.

Resident Evil 7 is scheduled to launch on January 24, 2017 for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Also the PC system requirements for the game have also been revealed.
