Hideo Kojima left Konami last year to form his own studio, Kojima Production. He is currently working on Death Stranding in partnership with Sony Interactive Entertainment. Meanwhile, Konami turned Metal Gear into a zombie game because.. why not?

Hideo Kojima’s brainchild is going to the dogs and that must be heartbreaking for the man. He recently took to Twitter and shared a tweet, showing a playlist of songs from Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. Listening to the music, Kojima-san got a little emotional.

The tweet got an instant response from hundreds of Metal Gear fans who showed their support for Kojima-san.

You feel it too, don’t you? The Phantom Pain!
