Dragon Quest Builders Farming and Fishing Guide

In our Dragon Quest Builders Farming and Fishing Guide, we have discussed everything you need to know about farming and fishing in the game.

Dragon Quest Builders Fishing

It is Chapter 2 – Rimuldar that introduces you to fishing in the game. There are basically two things which are required for fishing.

  • A Fishing Road
  • Water

When it comes to fishing, the idea is to keep a keen eye out on water bobs. As soon as you see a decent enough bob, immediately press the use button to pull in whatever you managed to catch.

One important thing that you need to know about fishing is that it comes with risks. When reeling in the line, you can either get a fish – which is obviously a desired reward – or a monster which will immediately attack you.

Dragon Quest Builders Farming

Similar to fishing, players are introduced to farming during Chapter 2 – Rimuldar. However, unlike fishing, farming can only be done inside the base and requires crops, a rake, and a transmutation table.

When it comes to procedure, you need to use a rake to prepare a piece of land for farming. Once you have prepared the land, take your desired plant – wheat, sugar cane, hollyhock, heartfruit, butterbeans, or potato – to transmutation table and get seeds.

Once you have the seeds and sprouts at your disposal, plant them in the prepared land to get started. One important thing that you need to note is never to hit the sprouts. From there, the results vary for Rimuldar and Terra Incognita.

If you are in Terra Incognita, simply head to the middle of the planted crops and use Faerie Fertilizer to mature them instantly. If you are in Rimuldar, however, you must wait at least 2 days to get the desired items. It is important to remember that if you harvest after the initial day, you get x1 item, but if you wait for more than 2 days, you get x5 items.
