Watch Miguel In Action In This Tekken 7 Gameplay Trailer
The roster for Tekken 7 just keeps on increasing as the developers have been adding new characters to the game. This time Bandai Namco has revealed Miguel who will be joining the ranks with other Tekken 7 characters.
Bandai Namco introduced Miguel in a new trailer, that starts by quickly setting up his story. The Trailer showcases the death of Miguel’s sister, and then quickly showcases him on the offensive. According to Bandai Namco:
Vengeance and redemption are key plot points in the Tekken series and no other character’s storyline embodies these themes than Miguel Caballero Rojo. After losing his sister in an airstrike ordered by the Mishima Zaibatsu, Miguel’s life has since been consumed with exacting revenge upon the Mishima clan. His heavy-handed fighting style and unrelenting drive for vengeance are powerful weapons when wielded by the right player.
Tekken 7 will be available for all three platform, however, since the introduction of the Cross Network Play many fans have been asking the developers to add Cross Network functionality for the game. But according to Katsuhiro Harada, this will never happen, not because of technical issues, its because PC players have a reputation for cheating in those sorts of games.
We all know what a phenomenon sSports has been in the gaming industry, and Katsuhiro Harada recently discussed Tekken 7 and its eSports elements. According to the developer, eSports has always been a major part of fighting games and Tekken 7 is no exception, and “eSports and Fighting games are a good match.”
Personally, I think that eSports and fighting games are a good match. If you look at other genres, for example shooters or MOBAs, they’re largely team-based, right?
While no official release date has been announced for Tekken 7, but it is expected to release in early 2017 for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
