Infinite Warfare Most Wanted Targets

A new Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare beta trailer has been released on YouTube, showing off a few of the game’s new weapons, the RIG system, and telling players what they can expect when the game releases later this month for the Xbox One and Playstation 4. Players who pre-order can play the beta early.

The trailer shows us a good bit of what we can expect in the actual multiplayer game, and it seems like Infinity Ward is taking a page out of Sledgehammer and Respawn’s book. Players will be able to customize their RIG battlesuit to do various things, and will be able to use abilities like jump jets, wall-running, and more.

The weapons, however, do seem to be fairly creative. The trailer shows us a good number of them, including a weapon that apparently creates black holes, some sort of attachment that can incinerate enemies, and some kind of gun that can ricochet bullets around the map.

Players can also call in care packages to give them new gear to use, including a robotic battlesuit (which we’ve seen in at least one trailer for the game’s story mode). You also have a flying drone that you can drive around and use to wipe out other players.

The Infinite Warfare beta trailer includes over three different multiplayer maps, over five all new and classic game modes, and all new mission teams. The Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare beta will be lasting from October 14 (this Friday) to October 24 (Monday, two weeks from now) on the Playstation 4, while the Xbox One version of the beta will be from October 21 to October 24.

According to Infinity Ward there will not be a PC demo to prevent data-mining.

The beta comes a few weeks before Battlefield 1 and Titanfall 2 come out, so if you’re looking for a game to keep you occupied before those two games come out on the Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
