Take-Two Interactive has filed a new trademark application in Europe for something called “Ghost Story.” The trademark once again fueled speculation regarding what’s next from Rockstar games.

For about a year now, the community has been speculating the arrival of Rockstar’s next game. It was expected at PlayStation Experience last year but it was never shown. Later on, rumors pointed towards an E3 2016 reveal but nothing!

Take-Two has mentioned that it would share its plans for future projects soon. However, soon does not mean 2016. The trademark comes at a very interesting time. “Ghost Story” might just be the new game Take-Two has been working on.

A new IP from Take-Two?

If it is a new IP than Red Dead fans would surely be disappointed as they were hoping to see a new installment in the series. Interestingly, Ghost Story is also the name of a popular 1979 book, written by Peter Straub. The book was adapted to the silver screen in 1981.

But of course, we can’t be sure of this being a new IP. Ghost Story could also be DLC for Grand Theft Auto V, released in celebration of Halloween later this month.

Whatever it is, we should be hearing about it from Take-Two soon.

What do you think this trademark is for? Do you think it is the new game from Take-Two Interactive or are we looking at the latest DLC for Grand Theft Auto V? Let us know what you think in the comments below.
