Bioware Debuts The Star Wars Knights of the Eternal Throne Cinematic Trailer

Star Wars The Old Republic’s fifth anniversary is coming up and nothing says celebration more than a brand new CGI trailer of an upcoming expansion. The latest expansion for the game is titled Star Wars Knights of the Eternal Throne which will launch in December.

The six minute trailer for Star Wars Knights of the Eternal Throne tells the story of a Jedi and her daughter, as she grows stronger with her power of the Force with age. The trailer also ties in with with the story of the trailer released last year for The Old Republic‘s Knights of the Fallen Empire expansion.

The trailer showcases that the mother is separated from her daughter, and the daughter is being converted into a sith. By the end of the trailer we see mother and daughter meeting again only to fight with each other as the daughter has been completed consumed by the dark side of the force. Star Wars Knights of the Eternal Throne will feature nine chapter, five completely new levels and two new planets that fit within the existing story and the MMORPG world.

However, this is not the only Star Wars game or expansion in development, as Visceral Games is also working on a new Star Wars games, which they describe as the original Star Wars story.
