Senran Kagura Peach Beach Splash Producer Explains PlayStation 4 Exclusivity

Senran Kagura Peach Beach Splash was recently announced and will be a PlayStation 4 exclusive. However, this is the first game in the series to be a developed exclusively for PlayStation 4, and Producer Kenichiro Takaki has revealed the reason why the game in exclusive to PS4.

Speaking with Dualshockers, Takaki-san explained the reason why Senran Kagura Peach Beach Splash was not coming to other consoles is that PlayStation 4 is capable of displaying way better graphics then previous PlayStation games, and he also plans to include PlayStation VR support for the game.

He further added that PlayStation 4 is his favorite platform that he likes to develop games for, and since the console is capable of rendering high quality visuals it will allow the developers to display the girl’s cuteness in greater detail.

However, he did mention that he would also like to release the game for Steam at some point in future.

Recetnly, the developers also revealed some screenshots for Senran Kagura: Peach Beach Splash showcasing some of the characters.

Also there will be a special edition for Senran Kagura Peach Beach Splash, “Super Limited Nyuu Nyuu 5th Anniversary DX Pack”, and it includes:

  • A copy of the game
  • A bonus product card
  • Life-sized Nyuu Nyuu mouse pad (Yumi)
  • Nana Yaegashi custom-illustrated special box
  • Art book
  • Soundtrack containing the theme song
  • 5 Year Anniversary Commemoration Previous Opening Animations Blu-ray disc

The game features five on five team based battles with water guns. The game also features a multiplayer component along with a singleplayer experience, and more than 30 characters will be available.

Senran Kagura Peach Beach Splash will launch on March 16, 2017 in Japan, exclusively for PlayStation 4.
