Solutions To Make The Gears Of War 4 Pre-Load Work
Unfortunately, Gears Of War 4 pre-load is still giving issues to those who are currently trying to download the game. This thing also happened with Forza Horizon 3, but Microsoft seems not to know what is the exact cause of it all.
Anyway we have a few solutions you can try to apply if the Gears Of War 4 pre-load is not working.
The first thing you can do is to clear the Windows cache by opening the CMD and entering “wsreset”.
If this doesn’t work, you can try by going to the Xbox app after buying the game. There, you will have to search for Gears Of War 4 and click “show in store”. After that, you will be taken to the Windows Store where you will be given the possibility to directly download the game.
Lastly, you can still try to download the game from your library and see how it goes.
We recently had the chance to talk to Chuck Osieja, Creative Director at The Coalition, and he ensured us this game will work on Scorpio without any problems.
Gears of War 4 was built from the ground up to be a title that can scale with the capabilities of the various platforms in the Xbox family, whether it’s Xbox One, Scorpio, or the best PC’s on the market.
He further explained that Universal Windows Platform helps the game to adapt to the device it’s played on, to give out the best in terms of performance.
The amazing aspect of the Universal Windows Platform is that once you buy a game, it works on every platform it’s played on – seamlessly. You get the best experience based on the power of your device. Because of how the game was made, it will look amazing on any platform for years to come.
Gears Of War 4 is releasing on October 11, 2016 for Xbox One and PC.
