Fallout is not at its best state right now, especially with Bethesda deleting Fallout 4 latest update due to issues with the mod support.

With patch 1.7.19, Bethesda gave Fallout 4 more stability and fixed some bugs affected the mods. Anyway it seems this patch didn’t work so well as some Reddit users reported the game going back to the previous update.

“We are investigating an issue with Mods not appearing properly with the 1.7.19 update. We are working hard to resolve this issue quickly and we may roll back the 1.7.19 update temporarily, at least until we can get a fix tested and deployed. Thanks for your patience.”

However, PlayStation 4 users still have no access to Fallout 4 mods, since Bethesda and Sony haven’t come yet to terms.

Like you, we are very disappointed by Sony’s decision given the considerable time and effort we have put into this project, and the amount of time our fans have waited for mod support to arrive. We consider this an important initiative and we hope to find other ways to bring mods on Sony’s consoles. However, until Sony will allow us to offer proper mod support for PS4, that content for Fallout 4 and Skyrim on PlayStation 4 will not be available.

But Fallout 4 fans can still hold their hope, as Bethesda claimed to have alternative ways to bring mods on PS4.

I assure you we don’t lack for alternatives. We are trying to do the most possible for PS4 players.

This is what Pite Hines claimed on his Twitter profile.

Fallout 4 is out for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
