Destiny update 2.4.1

Destiny: Rise of Iron Siege Engine Boss Battle guide to help you defeat the second boss that appears in Wrath of the Machine raid.

As the second raid boss appearing in Wrath of the Machine, Rise of Iron Siege Engine requires no less than perfect coordination and team play to go down. Before committing to the boss battle, remember that the recommended Light Level for Wrath of the Machine is somewhere between 360-370 – the higher, the better.

In addition to this, it is highly recommended that you get a hard-hitting weapon like Year-3 variant of Gjallarhorn or Devil’s Dawn.

Destiny: Rise of Iron Siege Engine Boss Battle Guide

In our Destiny: Rise of Iron Siege Engine Boss Battle guide, we have detailed everything you need to know about defeating the Death Zamboni.

Death Zamboni – Siege Engine Boss Battle

Immediately after arriving in the boss area, you need to destroy two turrets on either side which should open up the middle, revealing a core.

As soon as you see this happen, shoot the core with everything at your disposal and climb up the boss. For the second phase, you will need to gather a total of three engine parts – a warhead, an engine block, and a driveshaft. This section is not too difficult because every part is color-coded and you should have no difficulties in inserting the parts in their corresponding color-coded slots.

An important thing to note here is that a player is only allowed to hold a part for a total of 10 seconds. Within these 10 seconds, if a player fails to insert the part, it will be automatically dropped and the player will get a 10 seconds cooldown before he/she is able to pick up the part and try again.

The idea is to split your team – with one team shooting the mines and the other team transferring the parts. Once you are done, you should read a message saying ‘Siege Engine is now Fully Operation’. At this point, you need to eliminate Mexis, Siege Engineer as soon as possible.

Remember that Mexis, Siege Engineer has a self-destruction sequence which is why you should try and deal with him as early as possible. Once done, head through the open area towards the final boss of Wrath of the Machine.
