Destiny: Rise of Iron Aksis, Archon Prime Boss Battle Guide – Tips and Strategies
Destiny: Rise of Iron Aksis Boss Battle guide to help you defeat the third and the final boss in Wrath of the Machine raid.
The six-player epic boss battle with Aksis, Archon Prime is not a push-over, but making it there means you are worthy enough. Before committing to the boss battle, remember that the recommended Light Level for Wrath of the Machine is somewhere between 360-370 – the higher, the better.
In addition to this, it is highly recommended that you get a hard-hitting weapon like Year-3 variant of Gjallarhorn or Devil’s Dawn.
Destiny: Rise of Iron Aksis Boss Battle Guide
In our Destiny: Rise of Iron Aksis Boss Battle guide, we have detailed everything you need to know about defeating Aksis, Archon Prime.
After arriving in the final boss arena, you immediately need to divide into groups of two – one in the centre, one on the left, and one on the right. While staying in your positions, eliminate Void, Shock, and Scorch captains and gather their weapons. Once you are done with this simple step, switch positions and use the weapons at your disposal to deal with Servitors.
Eliminating the Servitors should cause them to spew SIVA charges which you need to gather and hit the plates in front of Aksis, Archon Prime. You basically need to do this a total of three times – the first wave has two plates, the second one has three plates, and the third one has seven plates.
Once you are done, you should be able to initiate the second phase.
The second phase is kind of like the initial phase, but with a minor twist. You basically need to stick to the initial strategies until the point where you eliminate Servitors. Once you are done with this step, the Guardian with the Empowerment Buff needs to jump the boss and stun him.
After the boss is successfully stunned, use the Elemental Cannons and all your firepower to dish out some serious damage. Once the Empowerment Buff is over, run towards one of the Pillars of Light around the boss arena to avoid a SIVA Discharge from the boss. One important thing to remember here is that each Pillar of Light will disappear after a SIVA Discharge which is why your entire team should hide behind the same pillar.
Once done, repeat the same strategies until Aksis, Archon Prime falls. Congratulations! You have completed Wrath of the Machine raid and acquired Machine God Bane emblem.
