The Coalition Revoked Gears Of War 4 Keys Obtained Through Nvidia’s Promotion
The Coalition has started a promotion in partnership with Nvidia, to giveaway Gears Of War 4 to those who purchase the select Nvidia graphics card. However, The Coalition has been revoking some of the keys, as they have been obtained illegally.
The Coalition director of community posted on NeoGaf, notifying gamers of the situation, and also advised that if a key has been revoked for those who got it legitimately, should contact Nvidia support along with proof of the purchase.
We detected some Gears 4 Windows 10 keys were obtained illegitimately via our NVIDIA promotion. We have gone ahead and revoked keys that fell in this bucket. If you believe your key was incorrectly revoked, we highly recommend you contact NVIDIA support with proof of purchase to help out with this.
Gears Of War 4 has gone gold, and we all know that day one patches have become quite common for the game industry. Despite the earlier statement from The Coalition studio head, Rod Fergusson, that there will be no day one patch for the game.
Now the developer has announced that there will be a day one patch for Gears Of War 4, but only for the physical version of the game, and the the update will be 11 GB in size. As for the digital version there will be no day one patch.
Gears Of War franchise has been all about action, and while all the game in the series are third person shooters, According to Microsoft, they may develop a non-shooter Gears Of War game in the future.
Gears Of War 4 is a sequel to highly praised Gears Of War trilogy, and puts players in the shoes of Marcus Fenix’s son, who is trying to survive a night against a new kind of monstrosity. The game is scheduled to launch on October 11, 2016 exclusively for PC and Xbox One.
