Destiny Trails Of Osiris Returning This Weekend, Iron Banner To Start Next Week
As Bungie promised, Destiny Trails Of Osiris and Iron Banner will be back and it all starts this weekend as Trails Of Osiris will be available today and Iron Banner some time later.
Bungie has announced that Destiny Trials Of Osiris will be starting from today at 10 am PST. Players will be able to purchase the Trial Passage coin from Brother Vance at The Reef along with new gear that players can equip to distinguish themselves as a champion.
The Iron Banner will start next week from October 4, 2016, at 10am PST and the game mode will be Supremacy. Bungie has also made some changes to Iron Banner to ensure the increase in rewards for players and encourage continued play throughout the week.
- The Tempered mechanic is gone – play when you want
- There are now 4 Weekly Bounties
- Bounty rewards include:
- An Iron Banner item not featured on the Vendor
- A chance at an Iron Banner Artifact or Vanity Item
- 25 Legendary Marks
- 750 Iron Banner Reputation
- Victory in a match grants 250 Reputation
- Iron Medallions grant 150 Reputation each, upon Victor
Also, there will be some new pieces of gear that will only be available during Iron Banner. This gear includes armor, a shotgun and an auto rifle and more. Also, both Destiny Trails Of Osiris and Iron Banner will be matchmaking according to players’ light level.
While Destiny has seen the launch of its final expansion Rise Of Iron, it seems that the developers will be focusing on the development of Destiny 2. However, some details regarding Destiny 2 leaked earlier this week.
The leak suggests that Destiny 2 will be releasing for PC along with Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Also, Destiny 2 would feel like a completely new game, rather than a continuation of the current Destiny.
