While fans of the Dragon Quest in the West are enjoying Dragon Quest VII due to a huge outpouring of support for the game’s localization. However, there are other Dragon Quest games that are yet to be released outside of Japan, and according to Square Enix, Dragon Quest X could also come to the west.

During PAX West 2016, Square Enix’s Noriyoshi Fujimoto, was available to answer some of the questions from the fans. One fan asked if Dragon Quest X would ever see a release in the West, to this he responded that translating a game which is as huge as an MMO is a very difficult task, and from a business standpoint, it is very difficult decision.

However, he did not shutdown all the possibilities of the game being released for the West. He suggested that if Dragon Quest X has enough support from the fans of the game from the West as did the Dragon Quest VII, then there is a chance that Square Enix might consider it.

Recently, Dragon Quest X Producer Yosuke Saito and Director Chikara Saito revealed that the game is in development for Nintendo NX along with PlayStation 4.

Dragon Quest X already has three versions of it and currently the game is in version 3.3 in Japan. A version 4 of the game is also in development alongside with new content for version 3, and no specific details were shared about the version 4 of the game.

Dragon Quest X is a multiplayer online role playing game developed and published by Square Enix, currently available for Wii, Wii U, PC, Android, iOS, and Nintendo 3DS.
